Historic Tour
The Royal Alexandra Theatre

Include a tour of the Royal Alexandra Theatre before taking your seats for the performance! Known as an "Edwardian jewel-box", this 1500-seat beaux-arts style, proscenium-stage theatre is a national landmark and the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in North America. Built in 1907, it has seen over 3000 productions since its first opening night and been the host to many special dignitaries.

I have dealt with many suppliers over the years and I have to say Mirvish is so fortunate to have such a great staff. When I call to book a group or add-on extra tickets, they always make it seem effortless! – Gail Bielecky, Tour Planner
Historic Tour
The Ed Mirvish Theatre

Include a tour of the Ed Mirvish Theatre before taking your seats for the performance! The history of this majestic theatre mirrors the history of Toronto’s entertainment landscape. Beginning its life in 1920 as a combination vaudeville and motion picture house in the famous Pantages theatre circuit, it was restored to its original splendour in 1989. In 2011 it was renamed to honour Ed Mirvish.

Working with Mirvish staff to plan and execute this trip was easy and the venue staff made the experience accessible and fun for the students. I would highly recommend taking students to a Mirvish show!
– Allyson, Teacher with the Peel District School Board
