Relaxed Performance
Friday, August 1 - 1PM
Experience the magic of Disney’s The Lion King in a special Relaxed Performance, thoughtfully adapted for those who may find traditional shows overwhelming. Enjoy softer lighting and gentler sound, along with the freedom to move, make sounds, or take breaks as needed. Quiet spaces and an activity zone are available. Our friendly Front of House staff are also there to support you throughout your time at the theatre.
We’re excited to welcome members of the neurodivergent community and anyone who feels a relaxed performance would suit their needs. Our goal is for every patron to feel safe, comfortable, and free to enjoy this unforgettable journey - because in our kingdom, everyone belongs, and every roar is celebrated. GalaPro Performances
GalaPro is an innovative technology that delivers a range of Accessibility Services right to your own personal mobile device, via the GalaPro app, no matter where you sit in the theatre.
Mirvish Productions is excited to announce we will be adding the Princess of Wales Theatre to our list of venues offering GalaPro services, with real-time Closed Captioning service available for The Lion King. Language Translation (Spanish) also available with this production.

Assisted Listening Systems
The Princess of Wales Theatre is equipped with the Sennheiser FM assisted listening system which requires the use of headsets, with options in two styles: the induction loop (used in combination with hearing aides that have telecoil or T-switch capability), and the stethoset (U-shaped receiver with earbuds that go directly in the ear.)
Headsets are available to borrow, free of charge. Quantities are limited. Please reserve in advance by contacting assistedlistening@mirvish.com. When picking up the device at the theatre, patrons will be required to leave either a piece of Photo ID or a Mirvish subscriber card.
Restricted Mobility
The Princess of Wales Theatre is a modern building with three seating levels (Orchestra, Dress Circle, and Balcony). It features elevator access to all lobby and seating levels, with options for wheelchair accessible, special access and bariatric seating. Private barrier-free restroom facilities are also available throughout the venue.

Performances of The Lion King are 2 hours and 30 minutes long, including an intermission.
The Lion King is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, we recommend The Lion King for ages 6 and up. Infants 2 years of age and under will not be admitted into the auditorium. All persons aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age must have a ticket.
Please be advised that theatrical smokes, fog effects, strobe lights, and loud noises are used during the performance. If there are specific accessibility needs, please reach out to Audience Services for further information.

Go to mytickets.mirvish.com and enter the email address used to buy or receive shared tickets. No password is required but you will be prompted to enter a 6-digit access code that will be sent to your email from no-reply@mytickets.mirvish.com.
Your ticket is ready to be scanned when the QR code automatically appears 90 minutes before the show. For your security, the QR code refreshes every 30 seconds, so screenshots and printed copies will not work for entry. Don't forget your phone as your mobile device is your ticket. If you have any trouble finding your tickets at the venue, feel free to visit the box office or ask one of our friendly ushers for assistance.

All ticket sales are final; no cancellations, refunds or exchanges. Each ticket includes 13% HST (# 10157 5844) and $4.00 CIF (Capital Improvement Fund) charge. All prices are in Canadian funds. Full payment is required at time of booking, unless otherwise stated. Tickets will only be released to the purchaser once the ticket order is paid in full unless the ticket has a zero value.
