Assisted Listening Systems
The Princess of Wales Theatre is equipped with the Sennheiser FM assisted listening system which requires the use of headsets, with options in two styles: the induction loop (used in combination with hearing aides that have telecoil or T-switch capability), and the stethoset (U-shaped receiver with earbuds that go directly in the ear.)
Headsets are available to borrow, free of charge. Quantities are limited. Please reserve in advance by contacting assistedlistening@mirvish.com. When picking up the device at the theatre, patrons will be required to leave either a piece of Photo ID or a Mirvish subscriber card.
Restricted Mobility
The Princess of Wales Theatre is a modern building with three seating levels (Orchestra, Dress Circle, and Balcony). It features elevator access to all lobby and seating levels, with options for wheelchair accessible, special access and bariatric seating. Private barrier-free restroom facilities are also available throughout the venue.

Performances of The Lion King are 2 hours and 30 minutes long, including an intermission.
The Lion King is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, we recommend The Lion King for ages 6 and up. Infants 2 years of age and under will not be admitted into the auditorium. All persons aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age must have a ticket.
Performances begin November 2, 2024, with tickets currently available through February 2, 2025. Here’s the regular performance schedule:

Wednesday: 1PM & 7PM
Thursday: 7PM
Friday: 7:30PM
Saturday: 2PM & 7:30PM
Sunday: 2PM
The Lion King will employ ticket delivery delay. This is an additional security measure to ensure tickets are available to authentic purchasers and not third-party resellers who use unfair ticket technology to buy tickets in bulk. This would be especially problematic with popular shows. Regardless of the method of delivery selected at purchase (mailed or mobile), your tickets with barcodes for entry will not ship until the delay has been removed.
Delivery information is provided within your purchase confirmation email. Rest assured, your seating and performance dates can always be viewed in the Mirvish app or in your Mirvish account at any time.
We will provide an update on ticket delivery in September 2024.

All ticket sales are final; no cancellations, refunds or exchanges. Each ticket includes 13% HST (# 10157 5844) and $4.00 CIF (Capital Improvement Fund) charge. All prices are in Canadian funds. Full payment is required at time of booking, unless otherwise stated. Tickets will only be released to the purchaser once the ticket order is paid in full unless the ticket has a zero value.
