The City of Toronto's King Street Pilot Project is now in effect. This project will reduce traffic in front of the Mirvish King Street theatres. You will continue to be able to travel between University Avenue and Peter Street, though no left turns will be permitted at any point through the King Street Pilot Project area.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?
During the course of this pilot project, vehicles are not allowed to drive through most of the intersections on King St. W, except for: TTC Vehicles, emergency vehicles, bicycles, and road maintenance. Taxis are allowed to travel through the intersections of the street between 10PM and 5AM. However, you will continue to be able to travel between University Avenue and Peter Street, though no left turns will be permitted at any point through the King Street Pilot Project area.  

DEDICATED PASSENGER DROP OFF/PICK UP SPACES
There are dedicated on-street spaces for passenger pick-up and drop-off, as well as short-term loading and deliveries. Standing and/or parking is not allowed. -SEE MAP-YELLOW ZONE

BUS DROP OFF/PICK UP SPACES
Dedicated on-street spaces for buses to drop-off and pick-up passengers. Standing and/or parking is not allowed. -SEE MAP-YELLOW ZONE

ACCESSIBLE LOADING DROP OFF/PICK UP SPACES
There are dedicated on-street spaces for accessible passenger loading. Vehicles with an accessible permit are allowed to stop to pick-up and drop-off passengers.  -SEE MAP- BLUE ZONE

Don't worry! There are plenty of indoor garages and surface parking lots near King Street. -SEE MAP- P 
There is also parking on some side streets in the area.
