KINKY BOOTS is about standing up for who you are and what you believe in. It’s about BEING WHO YOU WANT TO BE and showing the world what you care about. KINKY BOOTS inspires students and teachers to share what the musical’s message means to them and how they can use their unique passions to help and inspire others.
Include a tour of the Royal Alexandra Theatre before taking your seats for the performance! Known as an "Edwardian jewel-box", this 1500-seat beaux-arts style, proscenium-stage theatre is a national landmark and the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in North America. Built in 1907, it has seen over 3000 productions since its first opening night and been the host to many special dignitaries, including the late Princess Diana. Some of the greatest actors of our time have graced its stage -- Al Jolson, Katharine Hepburn and Orson Welles to name but a few.
