The Princess of Wales Theatre | Mar/Apr 2008

A comic epic so big, so grand, so splendidly full that it takes two separate, stand-alone plays to tell its sweeping story!

In a brilliant new staging, Britain's famed Chichester Festival brings us an extraordinary two-part adaptation of Charles Dickens' The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. 27 actors play 150 roles in the gloriously sprawling tale of young Nicholas, left penniless on the death of his father, as he embarks on his spell-binding journey through 1830s' England, to find happiness and love in the teeming city of London.

The two plays will be performed in repertory and subscribers will see each part on different dates.
