"Witty and wise... Clothes may make the man, but they define the woman. That’s just one of the truths you’ll take home with you from the hilarious, touching, always enjoyable show called Love, Loss and What I Wore ..." - Richard Ouzounian, The Toronto Star
The Canadian premiere of the award-winning, New York smash hit! Love, Loss, and What I Wore is an intimate collection of stories by sisters Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron – who together have written some of the most iconic romantic comedies in recent memory including the screenplay You’ve Got Mail and solo successes including Nora’s Julie & Julia and When Harry Met Sally and Delia’s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the personal recollections of the Ephrons’ friends, Love, Loss, and What I Wore won New York’s 2010 Drama Desk Award for Best Unique Theatrical Experience. Like the book, the show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to. The production will feature different (5-member) all-star casts who will perform the piece in four-week cycles.
For Love, Loss, and What I Wore: The Presenting Sponsor is Winners; the Delta Chelsea Hotel is the Official Hotel; Cover FX is the preferred makeup of the cast. A portion of the production's proceeds benefit the Toronto chapter of Dress For Success.

Such an original way to tell a story. Loved the simple way the stories were told and how the stories related to each other and to clothes! Great show!
Great show. Lots of fun and plenty of laughs. Delightful and charming. We were nodding in agreement through the whole show while laughing out loud at the stories.
The show was absolutely delightful and entertaining. Go see it. You will have a good time AND you will recommend it to your friends.
This is a fantastic show. The current cast is superb - Margot Kidder is a riot! Very relatable stories to women and even men. I encourage everyone and anyone to see this piece of fun theatre!
What an intelligent, witty, hilarious, and sometimes touching show! This show does not have the grand high budget production, but let me tell you, when you have the perfect script delivered by 5 very good actresses, the show doesn't need anything else which will only be a distraction. I highly recommend this gem. It's a rare find.
If you're looking for a night on the town with your best gal pals, this is your answer. Food may be the key to a man's heart, but shoes and clothes are a woman's best friend so what better way to reveal in this love with both touching and comedic tales from a wonderful cast.
fantastic show! great energy and wonderful stories that every woman can relate to! even saw some of the men with their wives having a good laugh!
It was amazing! The cast was great. I love love love Andrea Martin, Mary Walsh, and Louise Pitre. Highly recommended.
Really liked it! Could relate to all the stories, a great piece to go see with all your girlfriends!
I totally enjoyed the show. I didn't think it would be possible to have an entire show based on clothes - not only was it possible but it was downright entertaining and hilarious every step of the way!
Hilarious! Loved it!
The show is fantastic. Drop everything and take your closest girlfriends. You will all have a blast! So relatable for women of all ages - a must see!
