Dear eStagers,

We hate to say "goodbye," but au revoir it is to two incredible shows: Carrie Fisher ends her smash-hit run of WISHFUL DRINKING this Sunday, August 21st. If you haven't seen her wickedly witty look at the toxicity of celebrity, you must hurry. As well, our beloved BILLY ELLIOT will finish his acclaimed engagement after 31 weeks and 400,000 people at the Canon Theatre on Saturday, September 3. But there are new shows on the way, and this week eStagers get priority tickets and a great discount to two of this fall's must-see shows - PRIVATE LIVES, starring Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross; and the legendary musical CHESS.

PRIVATE LIVES PRIORITY OFFER! SAVE 20%

Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) and Paul Gross (Due South) co-star in a new production of Noël Coward’s comedy classic! A hit on London’s West End, it now comes to North America for a strictly limited engagement in Toronto before transfering to Broadway.

The glamorous divorcée Amanda and her prosaic new husband honeymoon on the French Riviera. When Amanda finds that the hotel room next to theirs is occupied by her ex-husband, the rich and reckless Elyot, old passions begin to bubble. Elyot and Amanda-with no regard for propriety-forget all about the faults that drove them apart in the first place… for a little while, anyway.

"It’s fluent, very funny & dazzling well acted." - THE EVENING STANDARD

"Fresh and hilarious." - THE DAILY EXPRESS

CHESS THE MUSICAL PRIORITY OFFER! SAVE 20%

Two of the world’s greatest chess masters battle it out at the world chess championships but their greatest contest is for the love of one woman. Amidst political intrigue and international conspiracies, the American and the Russian fight to win the heart of Florence Vassy in a romantic triangle that mirrors the heightened passions of the Cold War all set to an explosive score by the composers of Mamma Mia and the lyricist of Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.

Written by Tim Rice and ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, CHESS has one of the greatest musical theatre scores of all time including One Night In Bangkok, Pity The Child, Anthem, You And I and, of course, I Know Him So Well. Lead by a superb West End cast of 30 actors and musicians, this is an unmissable production! Make your move! Book now!

"The force is with her!", says Gloria Martin of 680News. And it certainly has. After 6 incredible weeks, Carrie Fisher finishes her popular Toronto engagement this Sunday! Only 8 more performances remain!

The daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher became a cultural icon in her own right at the age of 19, when she starred as "Princess Leia" in the Star Wars trilogy. In WISHFUL DRINKING, she tells the true and intoxicating tale of her life as a Hollywood legend - with all the wry wit she poured into such bestsellers as Postcards from the Edge - in an uproarious and sobering look at her "Hollywood hangover".

STAR WARS will soon be released in 3-D, but nothing matches the opportunity of seeing this iconic movie legend in the flesh! Book now!

After 31 WEEKS, 248 STANDING OVATIONS, and more than 400,000 CAPTIVATED FANS, BILLY ELLIOT wants to thank you, the Toronto audience, for making it the "MUST-SEE THEATRICAL EVENT OF THE YEAR!"

If you haven't yet experienced the joy BILLY ELLIOT...there's still a chance.
